We are pleased to announce that the 2015 PARMA Music Festival Call for Scores is now open! There are five categories in which to submit your works:
CATEGORY 1: Bring Your Own Performer
• 15 minutes or less
• Open to any instrumentation
• Composer must bring ensemble to concert if piece is selected
• Electronic and acoustic instruments welcome
CATEGORY 2: Ensemble or Band
Calling all bands and performers! Send in audio and/or video samples for consideration for possible inclusion in opening slots or full sets throughout the Festival.
CATEGORY 3: Singer/Songwriter
Singer/Songwriter: Call for solo acts with vocals and one instrument. Send in audio and/or video samples for consideration for possible inclusion in opening slots or full sets throughout the Festival.
CATEGORY 4: Electronic
• 10 minutes or less
Calling for electronic works to be programmed during festival events. Please submit .mp3 audio
CATEGORY 5: Solo Instruments
• 10 minutes or less
• Solo piano, violin, or cello are preferred, but all solo instruments will be considered
Works to be performed at Festival concerts. PARMA will provide a performer if selected.
Submission period is open until May 15.
